Christian Humberto López Pozo (18) is learning to be an electrician. Grupo Juvenil Dion (DION) is a non-governmental organization that teaches marketable skills to young Hondurans to escape becoming entrapped in the world of guns, gangs, drugs and prostitution. Young people from La Pedredgal, one of Tegucigalpa's poorest and most densely-packed neighborhoods, receive vocational training in carpentry, baking skills, information technology, salon services, tailoring and electrical repair at DION’s main facility.
